Karlovy Vary is the main spa town in West Bohemia, 360 – 390 m above sea level. It was founded around 1350 by Holy Roman Emperor and King of Bohemia Charles IV.

Marianské Lázně

Mariánské Lázně lies in a beautiful wide valley in West Bohemia, 576 – 626 metres above sea level. An almost 20km wide forest zone with numerous hiking trails passes right through the spa. Františkovy Lázně

Jáchymov

The West Bohemian spa town of Jáchymov is situated in a deep wooded valley in the foothills of the Ore Mountains. The surrounding hills provide breathtaking views, astonishing in their beauty, at any time of the year. At the beginning of the 20th century a rich supply of radon was discovered by miners of uranium ore in the former silver mines, leading to the founding of the spa grounds and the first sanatorium. Teplice

Poděbrady
